ABOUT ME

Dr. Stephan Ruppert

From 2012 to 2015 as Director of R&D Asia-Pacific, I set up a research and development center for a global cosmetics company in Wuhan, China.
During this time, I discovered my passion for intercultural communication and my fascination for China.

Today I help people to communicate efficiently and without misunderstandings with foreign cultures and to build long-term relationships & trust.

I am particularly fascinated by the Chinese culture with all its otherness, diversity and contradiction. I want to give my customers a realistic picture of China and help them to look behind the usual stereotypes.

In China I experienced how challenging my own, German culture with its directness, task-orientation ond focus on efficiency is for other cultures. This change of perspective helps me to explain the German culture to foreigners.
